Make It Happen.

Truth be told, it's so easy for me to dream big dreams & talk about doing amazing things.

But this is a nice reminder to me - make. it. happen.

For the past couple years, I've had the desire to become an Esthetician { definition : a specialist in aesthetics. aesthetics is a branch of philosophy dealing with the nature of beauty, art, taste and with the creation and appreciation of beauty. - all of this having to do with skincare }. I would like to work in a salon for a little while and then move into more of the medical arena - working with burn victims, plastic surgeons, etc. 

And. 

Just the other day, I went to the Euro Institute's open house.

Filled out all my applications.

And am ready for Sept 2012 to get here.

Now. 

My desire isn't just a desire anymore.

It's happening.

And I couldn't be any happier about this decision! 

** just a thought. no one is ever going to really make anything happen for you. they may push you along, they made hold your hand for a little while - but at the end of the day, its you who has to be willing to face the challenge, to face the possibility of disappointment, to work hard & sometimes even harder.
